I work SEO from inside the digital marketing strategy, not as a separate silo. For me, SEO is not an isolated channel, it is a piece that needs to fit with everything else the company is doing in organic, paid, content and branding. What I enjoy the most is auditing. Sitting down with a project's data and finding two things: where there are obvious leaks that nobody is seeing, and where the real growth opportunity is that actually justifies the effort. From there, walking out with a clear plan of what to do first, what comes next, and what to leave out because it does not move the needle.
